Diesel Driving Academy
Description

In June of 1972 Abe Busada and M. B. Chastain started Diesel Driving Academy in Shreveport, LA. The early days of training were done at an airstrip in DeSoto Parish, close to Mansfield, LA. DDA started with one truck and trailer but quickly grew.

Students from all over the state – particularly the Baton Rouge area – started to come to the Shreveport campus for their CDL training. In July of 1987, DDA opened a second campus, located in Baton Rouge. With the immediate success of this location, a third campus was opened in Jacksonville, AR. just north of Little Rock, and was moved to its current location in Little Rock during April of 2009.
