South Cherokee/Jasper Driver Improvement Clinic is licensed by the Georgia Department of Driver Services to conduct the Teenage Driver Training Program. This program consists of 30 hours of classroom instruction and 6 hours of private, individual behind-the-wheel training. All driving instruction is done in our state certified, dual controlled vehicles. The 6 hours of behind-the-wheel driving instruction will be with a licensed instructor who will first assess what is needed to pass the State road test, along with safe driving on streets and highways. Students will get experience on both rural and urban traffic, including expressway conditions and parallel parking.

Behind – the – Wheel training for non-teens and those who do not require classroom instruction. This is often completed in 2-12 hours, based on the student’s skill level and in-car performance. A recommendation will be made by the instructor if additional training is needed. All driving instruction is done in our state certified vehicles.
