This course satisfies all court and DMV requirements. All you have to do is hand in the certificate of completion to the courthouse, and we’ll go ahead and notify the DMV electronically of your attendance. We keep costs low, and therefore, prices competitive. The cost is $70, but you can get a $10 prepay discount for registering in advance, which brings the total price down to $60. The 8 hour classes are offered every Saturday beginning at 8am and every other Wednesday beginning at 9am. If these two days don’t work with your schedule, you can check out our online course.

Many national online driver improvement clinics don’t meet Virginia specific requirements, which means they aren’t accepted by some Virginia courts. Our Online Driver Improvement Clinic is specific to Virginia and accepted everywhere for students age 20 and up. We know that you have a crazy schedule, so we make this as easy as possible for you. If it is difficult for you to come into our office to test, give us a call to discuss alternate proctoring options that will work for you.

Behind-the-Wheel consists of seven lessons. As mandated by state law, each lesson consists of 50 minutes of drive time and 50 minutes of observation time for each student. Sessions are conducted in a specially equipped DMV certified Driver’s Ed vehicle and include a combination of back roads, city, and highway driving. We administer the DMV road skills examination on the 7th lesson, and if the student passes and all the other requirements are met, we issue the student’s provisional driver’s license.
