We understand that being an adult without a driver's license becomes a burden getting to and from work, let alone any personal errands you may need to run. Throughout the years, we offered adult driving lessons that did not include classroom instruction and found that students were paying too much for the amount of time needed to master the skill of driving. We now offer 8 week courses that include the following 7 hours of classroom instruction 16 Behind the Wheel lessons (8 hours) This 8 week course includes understanding and applying the rules of the road, and is supported with Behind the Wheel instruction for safe driving habits. Certain maneuvers, such as parallel parking and alley backing will be taught towards the end of the Behind the Wheel lessons. However, the main focus is establishing awareness and risk prevention as a driver by focusing on safe lane travel, smooth starts, stops, turns, traffic flows and lane usage. The objective of the class is to enable you, as a driver, to safely navigate through the driving environment. Classroom instruction is at a set time, but Behind the Wheel lessons are scheduled for pick up and drop off by E Street during times that work around your school or work schedule. We hope that this setup will meet the needs of many adults who are needing to gain independence with a valid driver's license. Please register for your desired class below.
