Idaho STAR

The Idaho STAR Motorcycle Safety Program was created in 1994 and began rider training in 1996. STAR is an Idaho Division of Career-Technical Education program and is accredited by the National Association of State Motorcycle Safety Administrators . STAR stands for Skills Training Advantage for Riders, for we believe there are real advantages in being properly trained and prepared to ride. Idaho STAR training is associated with a 79% reduced crash risk. STAR provides training for all levels of riders, taught by Idaho certified Instructors. Whether you have ridden thousands of miles, or have never even sat on a motorcycle, Idaho STAR has a course to fit your needs. STAR courses take place in a controlled, off-street environment and are designed to help you develop the physical skills as well as the mental strategies needed to successfully navigate today’s roadways.
