My Turn To Drive School has been providing Pennsylvania drivers education instruction on the Main Line and in the Delaware Valley for over 15 years. All instructors are fully trained and certified and many hold advanced degrees. Our ongoing passion is to teach the skills of defensive driving to our students and perhaps even more importantly to review the dangers of distracted driving. According to the National Safety Council, there is no safe way to operate a cell phone while driving. The NSC maintains, "driving and cell phone conversations both require a great deal of thought. When doing them at the same time, your brain is unable to do either well. For example, it's nearly impossible to read a book and have a phone conversation. While driving, this often results in crashes due to delayed braking times and not seeing traffic signals." We agree with this analysis and spend a great deal of time discussing the dangers of distracted driving. We teach students to completely focus on the driving task at hand. We offer classroom instruction during the fall and spring semesters at many area high schools. These classroom sessions usually run after school two days a week for a period of seven weeks. My Turn To Drive School is pleased to offer behind the wheel lessons to students enrolled in the high schools listed below. (Please note that we are not affiliated with these high schools and that this list only serves to constitute our service area.). Lower Merion, Harriton, Radnor, Conestoga, Archbishop John Carroll, The Haverford School, Malvern Prep, Villa Maria Academy, Merion Mercy Academy, Friends Central, Episcopal Academy, Devon Prep, Agnes Irwin, Academy of Notre Dame, Baldwin School, Shipley School, Barrack Hebrew Academy. If your school is not listed, we still may be able to provide behind the wheel lessons for you. Please contact us to find out. The lessons are exclusively one on one with your son or daughter and our driving instructor. We will pick you up and drop you off in one of our safety-equipped vehicles. Upon pick-up, our instructor will greet you and your parent(s) and ensure that you have your permit with you for the lesson. After the lesson is completed, our instructor will provide you with a summary of accomplishments and/or any areas for improvements. Currently, we are providing driving lessons seven days a week.

The Third Party Non-Commercial Testing Program was established by PennDOT to provide Pennsylvania residents with an additional option to obtain their driver's license. While there is no charge for taking a driving skills test at a PennDOT Driver License Center, third-party business partners, such as My Turn To Drive School, charge a fee for administering the driver's license test. All of our examiners have been PennDOT-certified, and the test itself will be identical to what a customer would receive at a Driver License Center. My Turn To Drive School and its instructors underwent a rigorous approval and training process to become a certified third party tester by the state. This program eliminates the need for examinees to travel to a Pennsylvania Driving Center to take their driver's license test. Testing can be completed at our location. Once you have successfully passed your license test at our facility, our instructors will stamp your Pennsylvania learner's permit which will serve as your valid license for up to 120 days. You will receive your camera card in the mail from PennDOT within two to four weeks. At that time, you can visit any authorized photo license center in order to have your license photo taken and then issued.
