Our Adult Students typically complete the Behind-the-Wheel section in 1-3 weeks after the 1-day classroom portion (with the exception of students who request a special fee schedule or drive ​session dates based on work/school schedule). ​As little as $80 down payment gets you in our Adult class! At Northwest Driving Academy, We get it... "You have places to go and things to do..." Many people do not get their Driver's License during their Teenage years. Maybe at that time you didn't have much need for a driver's license, but things have changed now that you're an adult. Maybe now you have a job and want to buy a car. And you definitely have places to go and things to do and no longer have access to your parents' car!

38-Hour Driver Education (Permit) Course ​Northwest Driving Academy LLC offers superior Driver Education as a part of Louisiana's Graduated License Program. The 38-hour Driver Education course (30 hours classroom plus 8 hours Behind-the-Wheel) is required for all Teens who are 15-16 years old to receive a Louisiana driver's permit. If you are 18 or older and will be applying for your driver's license for the first time, register for our 14-HOUR Pre-Licensing course (6-hour classroom with 8 hour Behind-the-Wheel component). Teens who are 17 years old may opt to apply for either a Learner's Permit or a Full License upon completing the 38-hour driver's education course. Upon successful completion of this course, your teen is eligible to apply for a Class E - Driver's License Permit. Our courses and instructors are Approved by the State of Louisiana to provide Driver Education for individuals seeking Class "D" and "E" driver’s License.
