Drivers Licience: Students ages 15 1/2 to 17 1/2 must

must complete a 6 Hour mandatory course of Behind the Wheel Training with a Licensed School and obtain a certificate of completion.
Permit

Provisional Instruction Permits. If you are under 18 and at least 15 ½ you can apply for a provisional driver license. The first step to getting your license is to get your instruction permit. Because you are under 18, your permit and driver license are called, "Provisional." This means you have additional restrictions placed on your permit and driver license that adults (18 and over) do not have.
Behind The Wheel $500

In addition to the six hours of driver education, fifty hours of behind the wheel experience are needed with a licensed driver (25 years of age and older). Ten of the fifty hours must be night driving. During the first 12 months after you are licensed, you cannot drive between 11pm and 5am and you cannot transport passengers under age 20 unless you are accompanied by your parent or guardian, a licensed driver 25 years of age or older, or a licensed or certified driving instructor...
