Mr. Steele taught Social Studies, Drivers Education, and was the Faculty Manager for the Greensburg Salem School District for over 36 years.  For the final 35 years of his career he was the full time Drivers Education teacher.  He taught both theory and behind the wheel.  Part of his behind the wheel curriculum included taking students for their on the road driving test.  Upon his retirement, Greensburg Salem dropped their Driver’s education program.   Dick graduated from California University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor’s of Science in Education.  He also has a Masters in Drivers and Safety Education from Pennsylvania State University.
