Our approved curriculum includes all classroom and behind-the-wheel training required by the State of Ohio for teen drivers under age 18. All driver training classroom and behind-the-wheel sessions are taught by experienced, licensed instructors. The traditional classroom training consists of (8) three hour classes. The classes may be taken in any order, as long as all eight different classes are attended. Classes are held from 6 00 P.M. till 9 15 P.M. Monday thru Thursday evenings. When morning classes are offered, they are held from 9 00 am until 12 15.

The complete course includes the required online classroom time (24 hours) and the 8 hours of required behind the wheel time to complete the State of Ohio requirements for teens under age eighteen. The entire classroom portion of the course is completed online and the behind the wheel portion is completed at the Powell school location.

This course is for teens under age 18 who have already begun or completed the online portion of their driver training at an online school, and just need to do the 8 hours of behind-the-wheel training to complete their course. In order to begin this course, you must have the certificate of enrollment from an Ohio approved online driver training course. (It is not necessary to have completed the online course to begin the driving course)

The Basic Driving Course for adult students consists of 8 hours of behind the wheel training. The course is divided into (4) two hour driving sessions. The sessions are adjusted to fit each student's ability with safety always being our primary concern. For most students, the 4 sessions would follow along this general guideline.
