Description

Our instructors are experienced teachers whom currently work in private or public high schools and are Illinois Board Certified Education Licensed in Driver Education. Our instructors are energetic and passionate about teaching new drivers the fundamentals of defensive driving and safety.

 

Responsible driver offers classroom instruction and driving lessons for teens and adults. We are committed to education and the growth new drivers both teens and adults as they learning to drive. Responsible driver courses teach awareness, attentiveness, and defensive driving necessary to be a safety and responsible driver.

 

During Behind-the-wheel sessions our instructors are patience and considerate when correcting a student. They are flexible to busy schedules and work on individual skill levels.

We were happy for the most part with the program until the end. The teacher of the classroom sessions was nice as well as the behind the wheel instructors. It's the owner where the concern comes in. We were scammed into paying an extra fee to take the final driving test with the company to forgo the test at the driving facility. The owner was not clear on where to meet for this and unresponsive. After waiting for 10 minutes in the parking lot, my son went into the building nearby and found the owner upstairs. He said that we were late so couldn't take the test. We explained that it wasn't clear on where to go so he reluctantly said he would do the test and then took the money. The actual test was less than 5 minutes, and the owner was on his phone the entire time. We found out later that he failed my son... Read More

He did not give any feedback whatsoever and said his score would be submitted. I later learned by getting an email from the secretary of state that he failed his exam. I contacted the owner about this and he was extremely rude. You would think if my son did that bad, something would have been said. Maybe some feedback since we paid hundreds of dollars for this program....He was just clearly mad we were late. I would like to add that my son is an amazing driver! Furthermore, I had many friends enroll here at the same time and for them, it was an absolute nightmare to get classes rescheduled. The owner was always rude if he got back to them at all.
