Teen drivers (ages 15½ through 17) who want to be eligible for the Hawaii State driver’s license road examination, MUST successfully complete a State certified driver’s education course. 30 hour classroom instruction (Permit NOT Required) 6 hour Behind-the-Wheel (BTW) instruction (Permit Required) Hawaii State law also requires teens to complete an additional 50 hours (40 daytime, 10 nighttime) of supervised practice with your parents. Log Sheets will be provided. Log sheets must be complete & notarized. Upon successful completion, students shall receive BOTH classroom and Behind the Wheel certificates. Log Sheets must be signed, notarized and approved before certificates can be issued. Log Sheets that pre-date course completion will not be accepted. * Aunty’s Driving School reserves the right to deny, cancel, revoke certifications if student(s) is a safety liability to (ones)self and or others.
