The class is offered on most Saturdays from 9 am to 5 pm. The 6 hours of behind-the-wheel training is offered in three 2 hour sessions and includes pick up and return of the student from school, home or work. During the driving session we will introduce and practice the skills needed to pass the Road Test, and to drive safely in city traffic, residential areas and on major roads including interstate highways. The sessions cover Stopping, Following, Passing, Changing Lanes, Parking, Backing Up, Turning Around, Rail Road Crossings and Traffic Signal and Signs. These driving sessions are by appointment and can be set up for any time from 7 am to 6 pm on most week days and some weekends. This course includes transportation to and from the DMV office and the use of the company vehicle during the road test.
