One-Day High Performance Driving

In driving, there are no shortcuts to mastery. . . but there is a fast track

The starting line for becoming a ProFormance driver – a driver equipped to survive on the street and the ability to control a car in all circumstances – is the One-Day High Performance Driving Experience.

This course is where professional race drivers begin their journey to the checkered flag, and everyday drivers learn how to stay safe on their daily commute. Any kind of mastery starts with fundamentals, and they’re all covered here.

Our teen programs are offered from 8-11 30 AM on any scheduled days of the One Day High Performance Driving Clinics. Your teen's day starts with a 75 minute classroom session followed by four on track exercises in advanced car control and street survival skills. An in-depth knowledge of vehicle dynamics, skid control, brake application, steering, and advanced vision skills are established. At this point there is a review and closure by one of our teen driver coaches and your driver is sent home with valuable lessons learned in proactive driving. For the ultimate learning experience there is an option for our teen to participate in the afternoon portion which involves a total driving experience on the road course applying all the skills developed in the morning portion of their day. Registration for the full day program is required prior to day of class.

Our afternoon lapping program was created for two purposes Give our recent graduates opportunity to continue skill development with and without a driver coach and participate in supervised solo driving. Provide opportunity to our seasoned drivers to participate in "sport/recreational" driving while continuing their skill development in advanced driving. Practice on your own under the watchful eye of the ProFormance Racing School Staff. Participate in recreational high performance driving. Continue to develop your skills while you enjoy your car. Lapping will be limited to 20 cars 

Fully accredited by the Sports Car Club of America, (SCCA) ProFormance Racing School conducts the highest quality competition training in the nation. Our goal is to expose you to everything mentally and physically you will ever encounter when you go racing. Small class size affords our staff quality and personal instruction. Curriculum culminates in an actual race between students. All training is done in the school's race prepared sedans. Participants qualify for a competition license from SCCA, ICSCC and SOVREN racing organizations. Experience in High Performance Driving and familiarization with Pacific Raceways is a prerequisite.
