At locally owned A Affordable Driving School, our eight-hour class teaches defensive driving techniques, reduces your risk on the road, and helps you prevent collisions. A certificate of course completion will be given at the end of the driving school class. DMV is notified within 24 hrs of completion of the course. Complete our driver improvement class and you can earn up to five safe driving points from the Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV).

A Affordable Driving School offers a behind-the-wheel course as the final step for teenagers. Available to students under age 18 in the cities of Virginia Beach, Chesapeake and Norfolk (call for area limitations) to acquire their driver's license. The course consists of seven one-hour-and-forty-minute sessions a day in a group setting, where your teen will experience 50 minutes of driving and 50 minutes of observation. Students must have a valid learner's permit and have completed the classroom portion of driver's education to register for this course. Students also must have 45 hours of driving practice prior to enrolling in this course.

If you're an adult or teen looking for private, one-on-one driving instruction, count on the professionals at family owned A Affordable Driving School. This class is perfect for adults who would like practice before testing at the DMV or for teens who have not had much time to practice driving with their parents. All lessons are 2 hours per day and are available at a fixed rate.

A Affordable Driving School offers a DMV refresher class for adults 18 and up. It is mandatory for anyone who fails to pass their computer/written test at the DMV after the third attempt. This course lasts one day (8 hours) and is designed to help students gain the confidence and knowledge they need to pass their computer/written test at the DMV in Virginia Beach, Norfolk, or Chesapeake, VA. Upon completion of our class, A Affordable Driving School will issue a certificate that will allow the student to retake the computer/written test at the DMV.
