Program Length 4 weeks / 160 hours. Since 1978, United Truck Driving School has been training California CDL drivers and helping beginners start a successful trucking careers. Our philosophy about CDL training is simple proper education is the key factor for success as a professional truck driver. At United Truck Driving School, students train to become safety-conscious drivers in the trucking industry. Utilizing a balance of classroom instruction and hands-on, behind-the-wheel training, students will be prepared to pass both the written CDL exams and skills test. Class A CDL training prepares students to land entry-level jobs as Commercial Truck Drivers both over-the-road (OTR) and locally. During truck driver training, students will learn the skills required by The Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) to earn a California CDL with endorsements. Endorsements include Airbrakes, Doubles and Triples, Tanker and Hazmat. Behind-the-wheel training is taught on late-model, industry-standard equipment. Students are taught the skills necessary to safely operate a Freightliner conventional tractor equipped with a manual transmission and a full-sized trailer. Program Length 3 weeks / 120 hours. United Truck Driving School offers Class B CDL training, with a passenger endorsement, in the state of California. It allows you to drive a single vehicle with a gross vehicle weight (GVWR) of more than 26,000 pounds. Examples of a career as a professional truck driver operating a straight truck would be Tow Truck, Dump Truck, Delivery Truck, Utility Truck, and Many, Many More! With the addition of a passenger endorsement, it allows our students to also transport passengers in vehicles such as shuttle, city, motorcoach or tour buses. Our course equips students with the skills required by the Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) to obtain a Class B CDL with endorsements, including Hazmat, Tanker, and Passenger. Upon completion of truck driver training, students will be prepared to pass their California Class B CDL driving exam. Our truck driver training course prepares students for entry-level employment as Class B Truck Drivers and/or professional bus drivers in a local setting. United also offers students one-on-one job placement assistance and work closely with major carriers to get you hired! Choosing a good truck driver training program in Southern California is the first step to a successful career. But please note, a Class B license does not allow you to drive a Class A vehicle, like a semi-tractor trailer. For that type of license please refer to our other two programs.

Program Length 4.5 weeks / 186 hours. You’re interested in the transportation industry but aren’t sure whether trucking or bus driving is right for you. United Truck Driving School combines both Class A CDL and Class B CDL Training Programs, with a Passenger Endorsement, into one course. Classroom instruction and behind-the-wheel training prepare students to pass their written California CDL Exam and skills test. By graduation day, you will successfully complete truck driver training driving both big rigs and passenger buses. CDL-A + Passenger Training prepares students for entry-level employment as Professional Truck Drivers and Bus Drivers in either an over-the-road (OTR) or local setting. Truckers that hold a CDL-A + Passenger can operate any legal combination of vehicles or buses, including Class B and Class C vehicles. This course will prepare students to earn the following endorsements Airbrakes, Doubles, Triples, Tanker, Hazmat, and Passenger. Truck Driver Training takes place on triple axel Freightliner tractors with manual transmissions and full-sized trailers as well as full-sized passenger buses.
