Central Coast Motorcycle Training
Description

Central Coast Motorcycle Training (CCMT) is looking for riders who have a sincere desire to work part-time helping others learn to ride and enhance their skills. Prior teaching experience is desirable, but not required.

Teaching others provides tremendous satisfaction while sharing the joy of motorcycling with prospective riders. This is a part-time gig. Instructors have the flexibility to choose what class sessions they want to teach and at what locations.

The following are some basic required qualifications to become a California Motorcyclist Safety Program (CMSP) certified instructor:

  • 18 years of age or older and possess a valid Class M1 endorsement.
  • Currently own and operate a motorcycle on a routine basis.
  • No criminal history and a clean driving record. The criminal history and driving record must reflect that within the last fve years the applicant did not have any problems with violence, and/or traffic violations, or driver's license suspensions. In addition, within the last seven years, applicant cannot have any driver's license revocations or alcohol related driving convictions.
  • Demonstrate good communication and customer service skills.
  • Have a sincere desire to help reduce motorcycle crashes, injuries, and deaths.
