Drivability Driving School
Description

My name is Michael Hagen and I’m the owner of Drivability, LLC.  I’m not only the owner, but an instructor as well, since 2009. In 2016, I opened a NJMVC Certified Driving School called Drivability Driving School. As an instructor and owner I have been referred throughout the years from hundreds of parents/ students throughout Bergen, Essex, Morris, and Passaic County. Over the years as an instructor I have taken great pride in making my students feel at ease and safe behind the wheel.

Having a background as a HS Physical Education/ Health / Driver’s Education Teacher, I understand how important it is to establish mutual trust between teacher and student. The same holds true when teaching a 16 year old to drive. Drivability will provide the highest quality training and instruction for your teenage driver.  All instructors have successfully completed the NJMVC background, screening, training, and testing to become a certified NJMVC Driving Instructor. Also all of the Drivability Instructors have a background in teaching and instructing teenagers either as a NJDOE Certified Teacher, High School Coach, or Law Enforcement Officer.

Learning to drive is an exhilarating feeling for teens and a frightening one for their parents. My company’s behind-the-wheel program focuses first and foremost on how to safely operate a vehicle. Upon completion of our course, your teenager will be able to drive with skill and confidence while realizing with this new privilege comes a great deal of responsibility. From the moment you choose Drivability, my team of instructors and I will assist you and your teenager from the first phone call all the way through completing the 6hrs Behind-the-Wheel Training up until their road test. This will help make certain that your teenager obtains their driver’s license on the day of their road test.

Scheduling Lessons

This can be an exciting time for parents and teenagers. In order to ensure that your teenager can get started with Behind-the-Wheel Training, please do not hesitate with calling Drivability Driving School. My instructors and I do come highly recommended from former students and parents.

Students who turn 16yrs old before or during Driver’s Ed Class in High School

When a teenager turns 16 they can only obtain a permit through a NJMVC Certified Driving School. Also, they do not have to wait until the completion of Driver’s Education to take the Knowledge Test (AKA Written Test). Drivability Driving School can prep and bring them to take the Knowledge Test at NJMVC.

Should you decide to use Drivability, please call ASAP in order to reserve your teenager’s driving appointments. During our conversation I will explain the driving instruction process and answer all questions.

Sincerely,

Michael Hagen
