Fair Lawn Driving School

Fair Lawn Driving School was established in 1959 by Joseph Lamonica, the former Director of Driver Education at Fair Lawn High School.  Joseph took his experience and skills from the classroom to the road, teaching students to become safe and competent drivers.  Later his son, Neil, took over for his father.  A licensed driving instructor since 1979 and a NJ Law Enforcement Officer, Neil has combined his knowledge of driver and traffic safety with his father’s passion and expertise in teaching.  Neil holds a degree in Business Administration from Ramapo College, as well as, instructor certification in Driver Education from Jersey City University.  Additionally, Neil is certified by National Safety Council as a Defensive Driving Instructor.

My daughter just completed her 6 hours. The instructor and office staff made the entire process from start to finish easy for both of us! I highly recommend this school to all new drivers!
