NYS DMV Approved for All Permit Holders 16 and Older

This mandatory five hour pre licensing class is required by New York State Department of Motor Vehicles for any individual seeking to take a New York State Road Test. The course covers the state required curriculum and is taught by certified instructors . We are currently offering the course virtually via Zoom.  Virtual classes are available with both weekend and weekday options for your convenience.

Our instructors specialize in one-on-one private driving lessons. Whether you are a beginner or simply looking for some additional education, our driving instructors will provide training for your level of experience.  Driving lessons are for 60 minutes and students learn the basic rules of the road, defensive driving techniques and proper preparation for the road test. Highway driving is available upon request. Instruction is provided in dual controlled vehicles and home pick-up service is available in many areas throughout the Capital District.

Office staff will help you understand the requirements for obtaining your NYS license and schedule your road test through DMV for you. Using our vehicle, students will take a 45 or 60 minute lesson just prior to their test.  Immediately following the lesson, students will drive directly to the road test site to take their test. Please note you will need information off of your MV-285 or MV-278.
