All of our Teen Drivers Ed packages, for teens under 18, meet or exceed State of WA requirements. A minimum deposit of $275 is due at time of registration and the balance must be paid by first day of class. A finance charge will apply on all unpaid balances. Teens must be at least 15 by the first day of class to enroll into a course. Before you register, you MUST first pre-apply at the DOL website for a WDL number. which must be provided to us when you register. We will notify the DOL you are enrolled into class so the permit test will be waived and the permit can be issued by the Dept. of Licensing, no more than 10 days in advance of the start date of the class. Parent Informational Meetings are held prior to each new course.

The knowledge test consists of 40 multiple-choice questions about traffic safety laws. Applicants must answer at least 32 questions correctly in order to pass the test. Scores are valid for 2 years. Must pass a knowledge test before taking a drive test.

Skills exam that will test your ability to execute four maneuvers as well as safe driving skills. Must pass a Knowledge Test before taking a drive test. Test will be conducted in our vehicles (unless you are required to have an Ignition Interlock device installed in your vehicle.) Skills exams are offered by certified examiners in English, Spanish and Ukraine/Russian (at our Mount Vernon location only).

Reduced rate for a skills exam for Munros' Driving Instruction, Inc. students. Exam will be given in our vehicle. Must pass by 80% or more. Students must have passed a driver's ed course and have a valid written test before enrolling into a drive test.

Private one hour driving lesson including a 30 minute oral and/or written evaluation and debriefing of your driving skills. Often given to senior citizens or persons recovering from strokes, illnesses, injuries, etc. who want to improve their driving skills or have been referred by doctors or family members to have their driving skills evaluated.
