ABOUT JDS OF THE CAROLINAS

Jordan Driving School of the Carolinas operates throughout greater eastern North Carolina with a full-time staff of instructors.  We offer private and public instruction.  Our service offers classroom instruction and behind-the-wheel instruction. If you want to learn to drive with confidence,  we have the program you need!   We provide learning with the highest degree of excellence for every student.

With over twenty-five years of experience,  we are family owned and operated. We take it personally that our students succeed in safe driving.  From basic classroom instruction to preparing for the written exam to the road test at DMV,  we ensure every aspect of driving is covered. We do our very best to train safe, successful, confident drivers.

Jordan Driving School of the Carolinas is the current contracted provider for eight school districts in North Carolina. We provide Driver Education for Bladen County Schools, Chapel Hill – Carrboro City Schools, Craven County Schools, Franklin County Schools, Lenoir County Public Schools,  Nash County Public Schools, Person County Schools, and Vance County Schools.

Jordan Driving School of the Carolinas is committed to upholding the highest quality of standards. This commitment has enabled us to effectively serve the driver education community in the public and private sectors of North Carolina.

We presently contract in eight North Carolina school districts serving over 10,000 students. 

Jordan Driving School of the Carolinas recruits instructors in the following manner:

*Department of Public Instruction Certified Driver Education Instructors

*Certified Teachers who complete the 80-hour DMV certified course and 

*Professional and non-certified teachers who complete the 80-hour DMV instructor      course.

Jordan Driving School of the Carolinas presently has 40 instructors.  Most classroom instructors are also State Department of Public Instruction certified teachers. ​ Jordan Driving School of the Carolinas requires all instructors to be members of the North Carolina Driver and Traffic Safety Education Association (NCDTSEA) and the American Driver and Traffic Safety Education Association (ADTSEA).

Our main office is located in Vanceboro with a secondary office located in Rocky Mount.  We are available for instruction throughout most of Eastern North Carolina and the Triangle.

The President & CEO, Eddie B. Jordan, holds a BS Degree from East Carolina University in Education and a Masters degree in Administrative Education from Campbell University. Mr. Jordan has taught Driver Education in North Carolina for more than twenty-five years. He is also a member of the North Carolina Driver and Traffic Safety Education Association and the American Driver and Traffic Safety Education Association.
