Hello and welcome to Ruth's Driving Academy!

I take the business of teaching and mentoring Teenagers and Adults very seriously. My over 30 years of combined experience working with youth and adults through Scouting, Coaching, Driving School Bus and teaching Driver's Education along with various positions in the private sector provide a solid foundation to share in the educational process.

Dedication and passion for excellence sets the standard for learning in my classroom. One of the first lessons I ever learned about teaching was to teach without the student realizing they are learning. This has been a great lesson learned for me and has proven very effective in the classroom and behind the wheel.

While maintaining several instructor certifications through the Ohio Department of Public Safety including that of Training Manager, I have also assisted with continuing education for other Training Managers in the state of Ohio. Several of the training research studies I have done are currently being used throughout the state.
